How to use the exercise files

- [Instructor] If your account provides access to our exercise files, you can use them to follow along with me as I progress through this course. I'm providing some exercise files for you to download that are the same ones that I'll start out with. Just be aware that once I upload those files into Fieldwire, the system processes them and they stay housed in the Fieldwire cloud where I'll continue to teach you how to work with them. That means that I'll just be providing the digital files as they exist before I put them into Fieldwire. In this case, I'll start with a set of digital drawings in a PDF format like I might receive from my client on a construction project. I'll show you how to add these to your Fieldwire project. Once I do that, those drawings will get processed and formatted. So if you jump around in the course and the drawings I'm showing you on the screen look different than what you have in your Fieldwire project and you're not sure how they got that way, you may need to back up and follow along from the beginning. If you're watching this on a mobile device or you don't have access to the exercise files, that's okay too. Just follow along with me in the course and I'll keep you on track.
