In this video, Jim explains that hyperlinks can be added to drawings to make it easier to navigate in Fieldwire on your computer or mobile device. He also shows how some hyperlinks are added automatically and others can be added as markups on the plan sheets.
- [Instructor] As we continue the project setup process…and we add more plan sheets…and more project documents and files…sometimes it'd be nice to have an easy way…to jump between all of these documents.…And Fieldwire handles this through a system of hyperlinks.…So let's take a look.…I'm gonna come over to the left side of the screen…and I wanna go back to our Plans by clicking on that option.…And I wanna go ahead and click on the thumbnail…of my Cover Sheet so I get a bigger view here.…
And after it gets done loading…we see that some red boxes…appear to have been added to my Cover Sheet.…If I go ahead and zoom in…you'll see that I have red boxes…around all of my sheet numbers.…These are hyperlinks that Fieldwire added automatically…during the sheet processing.…So for example, if I wanna get from my Cover Sheet…directly to my FIRST FLOOR FRAMING PLAN…I just click here where the red box is,…it opens a thumbnail, and if I click on that thumbnail…I jump straight to sheet A-104.…
So it becomes a really quick and easy way to navigate.…
