- Let's get into editing audio in Ferrite. For earlier videos in this series, I've had my iPhone oriented vertically, or in portrait orientation. But for editing and mixing, the horizontal real estate that's available with landscape orientation is really useful, and track tools, such as volume and pan, are visible by default. All right, let's start getting a feel for how all this works. I'm going to open my space choir project, so I will tap the edit button on the left side, and there it is. Not only are we looking at this in horizontal orientation, I'd like to point out that a lot of stuff with editing and mixing really happens in a horizontal way. For instance, I am going to touch the volume control, and I'm going to drag my finger to the left to turn it down, and drag it all the way to the right to turn it up.
