A checklist before going live - Facebook Tutorial

A checklist before going live
- Before you go live with a Facebook event, there's a few things you should do. These are practical pieces of advice that I've learned, some of them the hard way. First up, make sure your content is organized. Take the time to have a printed outline, or any props, examples, or files that you're gonna be sharing, that they're ready to go. Send out some last minute reminders via social media. Make a Facebook post and a tweet that you're going to be going live in 10 minutes, or at a specific time better yet. Check your internet connection to make sure that it's a solid connection. And have a plan B. A plan B might be a cellular connection, if you're using Wi-Fi, or maybe you're plugged in to the ethernet, but you've got another computer connected via Wi-Fi. It's always good to have two internet connections in case one starts to act up. I also recommend having a backup device if possible. Remove any distractions, close the door if you're in your office or try to get to a quieter place…
