When you start to create a post or piece of content to share on a social media site like Facebook, you may want to tag colleagues or client sin that post. This will have the content show up on their Timeline. In this video, author Richard Harrington demonstrates how to tag posts with names of other people or organizations’ on Facebook.
- When you start to make a post or a piece of content,…you might want to tag colleagues in it or clients.…This will have the content show up on their timeline.…Although often, they'll need to give permission…for this to happen.…If you've been tagged in a post,…it might show up here under items for review.…In this case, someone tagged me in a post…and it's asking for permission to add this to the timeline.…Similarly, if you're tagged in a photo,…it might also be set to approve you.…
Now here's how it works.…Once a piece of content is uploaded or when you upload,…you'll see a few options.…For example, you can choose tag friends right here…to tag people that are involved in the project…and you see they're added with the with.…If you're on a business page, this is a little different.…You'll see if we go to make a post here,…I can use the @ symbol here…and start to type someone's name…and it will add them to the post.…
So while a personal page allows you…to tag friends with the with,…you can use the @ symbol to add someone to a post…
