Want to use Facebook as a business collaboration tool? Even though it is unusual, a Facebook group is a great option for working with other professionals or clients on a project. How does this work? In this video, join author Richard Harrington as he demonstrates how to post content to a Facebook group used for a project.
- Let's talk about some of the content…that you could post to a group.…When you go to make a post,…it's just like the rest of Facebook.…You can choose to write a post,…add photos or video,…or even do a live webcast or screen share.…But if you click on the More button here,…you'll see some additional options with groups…that are awesome.…This includes the ability to upload a file.…You can actually share content to a group,…like a document.…Maybe it's a spreadsheet, a budget, a PDF.…
You could post it…and limit the access to that file.…You don't have to use a third-party service, like Dropbox.…You can also create a document.…And this is a little bit more elaborate.…This is a lot like the notes we looked at earlier,…where you could put information, photos,…text, and other details,…and allow others in the group…to have permission to edit.…Maybe you want to collaborate on a draft,…a proposal, or you're tracking things…in a multi-user document with notes.…
Well, now, everybody can have access to this…and you decide if it's read access…
