Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Considering the terms of service, part of Social Media for Photo and Video Pros (2013).
An important thing to think about are the terms of service.…You need to understand what are the terms that you are releasing your work under.…A lot of the social media sites will take great liberties to your content.…You may have to adjust your comfort level and decide that you are just going to roll with it, …or choose some sites over others that will affect your posting strategy.…For example, let's take a look at one of those popular sites out there, YouTube.…If it's a video content, it's probably on YouTube.…
You see, 48 hours of video are uploaded every minute to YouTube, that's just insane.…This means 8 years worth of content go up everyday. People are documenting their digital lives and sharing.…I'd argue that it's pretty hard to be seen amongst all that noise, but still, there's a lot going up.…3 billion videos are watched everyday, and more videos have gone up to YouTube …in the last three months than the major TV networks have released in the last 60 years.…
So what does that mean to you?…
