Adding metadata to 360˚ video

- Normally, the encoding tool that you use will inject metadata, that this is a 360-degree video. So will the cameras. Metadata is just data about data. It's a setting inside the file that says hey, I am a 360-degree video file. But sometimes that information is lost or wasn't properly flagged. Fortunately, Facebook offers a few tools where you can fix this. If you need to, you could visit the Facebook Director Tools. Now what you can do here on this page is load up a video file. You select the video file that you want to work with, and then you can actually add guide points where you decide where the video pans. Then when you're all done, you can export it and publish directly. Now, the guide points are optional, but what this does is allows you to clean up the video and then re-share it in Facebook standards. So just visit this page and click Launch Director Tools.
