- When it comes time to present your webinar and you're using Facebook live, web cameras and even professional cameras need light. Now, we're in a controlled environment here so there's plenty of light, but there are lots of affordable options even if you are on location. What I have here is a simple compact fluorescent fixture. And it has nice soft diffusion here with the plastic. Now, this particular one is not dimmable, it just goes on or off. But having a few of these is a great way, if someone is going to be presenting at a desktop to add some light to the scene. Let me turn it on, and you see it puts off a good deal of light. And because it has this nice soft diffused surface, that light is spread. It's going to easily illuminate the scene and add a lot of information and detail and prevent underexposed video which could lead to a lot of noise. And if two bulbs are two bright, you could actually reach inside and unscrew one of the bulbs and just use one for less intensity. And…
