Writers
- [Instructor] FME Workbench has as many writers as it does readers. Let's look at some of the writers now. In FME Workbench, click Writers, Add Writer, and under Format, choose More Formats. Here you'll see a Writer Gallery with a list of all the different writers that we have available. If we look, there's a Read and Write column inside of the list of Writer Galleries. If we sort by Write just by clicking on it, you'll see a number of grayed out writers. Now, most of these are grayed out only because they are 32-bit applications and they won't work on my Desktop right now because this is a 64-bit application. If we look for other writers, such as geodatabase, so I type geodata in the bottom Search category, and you'll see at the top here that there's a number of Esri Geodatabase types.
