StringReplacer
- Sometimes you have to modify one of the columns of your vector data, a really effective tool for doing that, is the string replacer. The string replacer transformer can help you replace certain strings within your data. Let's try that now. Let's browse to our desktop, go into vector transformers and drag and drop the parcels SDF into a blank bench. Just click OK, and now we have parcels. If we say run just this, we can get a preview of what this data looks like. There's about 41,000 parcels in this particular file. And one of the columns we want to modify, is the land use. For example, the first item right here, PS public service, I want to change all the spaces in land use, to be underscores. So there are no spaces in this.
