Readers
- [Instructor] Feature readers come in all sorts of types and flavors. We pick on readers and click add reader to a brand new project. You could see all sorts of formats. So if we pick on the dropdown, you've got some of the ones you may have already been using but if you click on more formats, you'll see an alphabetical list of thousands of types. Go everything from Autodesk, all the way down to XML. And as you can see, you've got two types, readers and writers. Now, if we sort by reader, we see the ones that we can and can't use. For example, we've got one here called, but it says map guide version 2.0, we can't use this on this current desktop because it's a win32 or 32 bit format. So that's not working. Another one is maybe some Esri Legacy stuff. That's not on here. They're not available yet as well. So if you hover over it you'll see this format is not supported on win32.
