- [Instructor] Another interesting format, is the LAS or laser format. These are point clouds. Let's add one now, as a reader to our new project. Add Reader, make sure we use LAS, and browse to Special Data Types under Exercises, and we'll pick on the LAS file there. Now this is in 10TM115-83, that's the coding system, so make sure we choose that, there we go. Let me just type 10TM115-83, that's what we want right there. 10TM115-83 it matches exactly. I was going to use the TCPL, but in this case it's actually the 10TM that we're using, and we'll break it into individual feature types. Here comes the LAS file, there it is, not much to it. The next thing we need to do is to break this up. Now, within an LAS file, we have all sorts of point clouds that have been classified.
