Inserts and send busses

- When using the Mixer window, it is important that you understand the difference between the different types of Mixer channels that you can have. There are two main types. Insert Channels and Send Channels. Insert Channels are the channels that you use to root your audio into the Mixer. In other words, Inserts are the traditional Mixer channels that are used universally in all digital audio workstation applications. Send Channels are useful for applying effects to multiple Inserts, and then further manipulating those effects without actually affecting the original source sound. This is great for applying distortion or EQ to reverbal delay whilst keeping the dry signal intact. FL Studio by default has four syntracks ready for you to use with all mixer channels linked to these sends. You can add effects to these send channels, which gives you much more control over your mixing.
