Using alias addresses

- [Instructor] Adding alias addresses in Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 allows us to have email sent to us using more than one email address. Let's click on Josh, for instance, and click the edit button, and then we'll click on the email address. We see there's already two addresses on here. The one that's highlighted in bold with a capital SMTP, that is the one that's also the reply address. So when an email goes out, it's going to appear to come from josh@techpublishing.net. We can certainly change that simply by double clicking on one of the other addresses and choose make this the reply address, and now it's the default address. So we have one main address and one alias. In order to create additional alias addresses, we can only use domains that have already been added into our accepted domain list, and we only have two at this point, the techpub.us and techpublishing.net.
