Retention tags and archive policies

- [Instructor] In compliance management under retention tags, we can set up a retention tag. And it can be used to specify when items in user mailboxes will be moved to the archive or removed from the mailbox. which work together to make that happen. So if we take a look, we have one-month delete, we have one-week delete. We have all these different pre-set retention tags. And if we want, we can also click to create a new one as well. We have the option to apply automatically to the entire mailbox, to a default folder, or applied by users to items and folders for personal. Let's choose the entire mailbox. And we'll type in tag test. By default all emails that are deleted from the deleted items are set to delete and allow recovery. However, if we want we can create a permanently delete type of tag and that will keep users from being able to do that. We can also say move to archive after our email gets to be a certain age.
