- [Instructor] Outlook Web App Policies allows us to lock down permissions using the Outlook Web App. If we go to Permissions and choose Outlook Web App Policies, we see there's already the default policy. Let's edit that policy and see what we can do. If we go to Features, we can see there's a lot of different things that we can change, such as under Communication we can allow or disallow things like instant messaging, text messaging, Exchange ActiveSync and others. We can also allow or disallow journaling and the ability to change a password. Many outside users who never visit the LAN and don't use VPN have really no other way to change their Windows Active Directory password, which directly affects their Exchange Server 2019 access. So being able to change the password is a very good idea, unless you somehow see it as a security risk.
