- Hi, I'm David Elfassy, and welcome to Migrating from Exchange Server 2010 to 2013. In this course, we'll go through a migration journey, we'll look at how to design, plan, and then implement a migration from Exchange Server 2010 to Exchange Server 2013. We'll start by reviewing some key changes in architecture between the two products. And then work through some of the most significant challenges you will face during a migration. We'll look at the skills that are required to implement the most crucial Exchange tasks before you start migrating mailboxes to Exchange 2013, such as setting up your virtual directories and assigning certificates.
We will dive into the most important aspects of databases and high availability configurations, such as where to store your mailbox databases and how to deploy a database availability group. We'll also demystify some of the configuration issues around many of the client related policies and client connection methods. We'll go over how to safely move your mailboxes and public folders, but mainly we'll ensure that you're equipped with the proper tips and tricks to safely integrate Exchange 2013 into your organization. I'll share with you my experience from numerous migrations, and help you prepare to migrate to the latest version of Microsoft Enterprise Email Software.
Now, let's get started with Migrating from Exchange Server 2010 to 2013.
