- [Instructor] For email to flow properly in your Exchange Server 2019 organization we need several things. configured for your organization. This basically means for you to get a public domain, not just one in active directory and you can have multiple ones, if you'd like, as well. And then we add that to the accepted domain option in the exchange admin center. And the next thing we need is an email address assigned to each recipient. Each recipient can have multiple email addresses. The first one will be their primary, and the rest would all be alias addresses. And that means that they can receive email on these other addresses, but when they send email it will send out Another thing we need are mail exchanger records, or MX records for our public DNS zone. You can use DNS on your internal organization and open up your firewall and set up pointers through your domain name registrar, or you can have the domain registrar be your DNS host.
