- [Instructor] A lagged mailbox database copy is a mailbox copy configured with a replay lag time value greater than zero. and make the database copy current, we can activate and recover a lagged mailbox database copy We can get there by clicking on servers and we can see under database availability groups that there is a database availability group that it's been applied to this particular mailbox database and we see copies on Exchange one and Exchange two. Let's view the details of Exchange one's copy. We see Exchange one at the top, we see that there is no copy queue length or replay queue length, so that means everything is up to date. and that means that if both servers are up, The lowest number means the first preference for activation. If Exchange one goes down, then Exchange two will have the activated copy We also see the replay lag time in days. Let's cancel that and we'll explain more of that in just a second.
