- [Narrator] Let's discuss a service level agreement when it pertains to message delivery. SLAs can be a written contract This basically means that if you're hired to be an exchange administrator, You can take a standard SLA agreement, download it in Word and add components to the agreement for which you and the client can agree. In previous videos we discussed transport rules, where we looked for specific content, and used the rules to filter them for our clients as per their needs. Proper routing is important in order for email to travel the way the client needs it to happen. That could mean not by the usual public route. For instance, we can also email to another server internally, rather than out to the internet and back in, in a multi-domain environment. Timely email delivery may also need to be added to an SLA. Some clients may require email to be delivered quicker than others. This may mean tweaking the spam and virus filters in order to receive the email more quickly, but…
