Customizing mobile access in Exchange

- [Educator] Mobile devices are a big part of our work life and Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 allows us to decide what these mobile devices can and cannot do on our network. If we go to mobile on the left-hand side, we see mobile device access and mailbox policies from mobile devices. Let's click on the plus button under Device Access Rules. And under Browse, we'll see there's a couple of different device families. There's All families which just means every single mobile device operating system or EAS which stands for Exchange Active Sync. Let's choose All families. And Only this model, there we'll lock it down to the Exchange Active Sync devices. So, when it sees an Exchange Active Sync Device, we have several options, Allow, Block or Quarantine, and let the Administrator decide later. What constitutes an EAS Device? Well it includes Apples iOS, Android, as well as Windows Mobile. It does not specifically include BlackBerry however, if it's BlackBerry using Android, it will include…
