- Exchange Server 2019 has several different mailbox types. and there is a shared mailbox. And we will demonstrate those two And an equipment mailbox for checking out things where all the magic happens we're going to click on the dropdown arrow And this is going to be a user mailbox. If we already have an active directory user then we can choose to use an existing user In this case, though, we don't have that, so we're going to click on new user. We're going to start by putting in the Alias. And that's just a name that's going to match the first and last name or whatever So Jennifer Sale, her short name is Jen Sale. that we used for the Alias. And then we'll put in our password. And the password has to be at least seven characters and at least one uppercase and one number. Now if we're giving everybody the same password to start with we can choose to require the password to start with we can choose to require the password to be changed on the next log on.
