Create a recovery database shell

- [Instructor] To recover a mailbox or mailbox items for Exchange Server 2019 using a recovery database, we can go into Exchange PowerShell, and run some commands. We'll go to Microsoft Exchange Server 2019, and the Exchange Management Shell which is just Exchange PowerShell. After creating the recovery database, we would then restore using the restoration from our previous backup we did in another video. We would create the recovery database, using the New-MailboxDatabase command. So we start with New-MailboxDatabase, then we add in the name of the server, and the name of the database itself, and finally we finish with the path to the database, and the log folder path, which we also need for database recovery. Let's go ahead and create that, and now we see it has been created. We need to restart our Microsoft Exchange Information Store, so let's go down to our Start menu, and we'll go to Run, and services.msc, or you can get there from the Tools menu in Server Manager.
