Create a database availability group (DAG)

- [Voiceover] In Exchange Server 2016, we can create a database availability group, or a DAG, to allow us to have high availability. DAGs are used for membership purposes, so we can know who will be allowed to carry synchronized versions of the databases in case one of the nodes goes offline. In our Exchange admin center, if we click on servers on the left-hand side, and we click on database availability groups at the top, we can create a group by clicking on the plus. We'll put in our group name. And I'm just gonna call it Sync, although you can call it anything you want. It is limited to 15 characters, however. Now we wanna put in out witness server. And we're going to use our domain controller. Now the witness server cannot have any Exchange roles on it, so this particular server doesn't, so we're in good shape.
