…I've got a new blank workbook open still.…Let's start by adding some header rows.…I'm going to double-tap into a cell to activate it and start typing.…Here's a neat thing that you can do.…If you have data that is part of a series, like numbers or…months, I can tap in the green dot.…And it will bring up a menu.…You can copy, paste or clear the cell but I'm going to tap fill.…Now, I need to decide if I want to fill data down or across.…I want to go across, so I'm going to drag the cells to the right with my finger.…
The months will get filled in automatically.…This will work for days of the week, hours, minutes, or number series.…But I can't do that for nonseries data.…So, I'm going to fill in some products manually now.…I can double tap on a cell to bring up the keyboard and start typing.…And then, I can tap return to get to a new line.…Now that I've got some products, I'm going to tap and type in some sales data.…Now that we've got all our data in there, we can start formatting it.…
The first thing I want to do is boldface my months to draw attention to them.…

Q: This course was updated on 11/07/2014. What changed?
A: We added new movies and updated existing ones to include the new Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps for iPhone as well as discuss Dropbox integration. While most of the course was filmed on an iPad, the apps work very similarly on both the iPad and iPhone. Also check out the Office for iPhone First Look course to explore which editing features are available to all users and which require an Office 365 subscription.
