- [Instructor] On this worksheet called ShapesWordArt, maybe we're getting ready to display some of this information in a presentation and we'd like to bring out a couple of facts by adding some additional shapes here, putting in some text, some arrows and so on for annotation type purposes. To get to those features, into the ribbon menu system, choose Insert, and here we'll see an option called Shapes. This might look a little different on your screen depending upon the version of Excel and/or whether you're using a laptop with a more abbreviated set of displays here but it's in the Illustrations groups. Shapes. Let's choose a box, a rectangle and as we slide the mouse onto the worksheet, we see it looks like a plus. We'll click and drag. I'm not sure how big this will be.
