- [Instructor] You don't really need any specific skills to take this course. We're not going to be focusing on specific tools so you don't need any technical knowledge. You also don't need to be a data scientist or statistician or have any other deep data analysis skills. This course is designed for people who have to communicate data, but don't necessarily spend their lives thinking about data all the time. At the same time, data analysts and others who are data-centric will gain from a clear-eyed focus on thinking like a communicator when choosing visualizations rather than thinking about the data itself.
