What you should know

- [Instructor] Thanks again for your interest in this course. Before I dive into the material, I'd like to give you an idea of some things that you should know that will help you get through the course more effectively. First, you should be familiar with creating formulas in Excel. That I guess goes without saying. But you should specifically be comfortable incorporating absolute and relative references. Don't worry if you haven't used them a lot. Give them a quick description in the course. But the more you know going in, the better. You should also be comfortable creating charts from data. I use a number of different visualizations throughout the course. And the more familiar you are, the better it will be. And finally, the more you know about your company's operations, the better. Even though I gave you examples in this course, the more that you know about your company, the easier it will be for you to apply what you learn here to the work that you do every day. Thanks again. I'm ready to get started.
