- [Narrator] This course is intended for financial professionals interested in learning more about financial modeling. I'm assuming that you're already familiar with basic accounting and finance terms, concepts like the income statement, the balance sheet, and the cashflow statement, as well as basic Excel usage, including basic use of formulas, navigating Excel, navigating the tabs in Excel, and other basic Microsoft Office skills. In this course we will be using Excel files for the exercises. If you wish to follow along, please download the exercises folder to a place accessible on your desktop. As you open up the exercises folder, you'll observe different Excel files. For example, 0302 corresponds to the 0302 portion of the course. We will have two Excel files related to each of the different sections in the course where Excel is used, a file labeled begin and a file labeled end. These correspond to where the exercises for the video begin and end. The Excel files are provided to you and contain everything you need to follow along and do the exercises with me.
