From the course: Excel Business Intelligence: Data Modeling 101

Welcome

(upbeat music) - [Chris] Hey everyone, Chris Dutton here, and welcome to Excel Business Intelligence, part two, Data Modeling 101. In this part of the course, we'll dive into Excel's data model, and review some core fundamentals of database design and normalization. Using hands-on demos and project files, we'll practice creating table relationships, blending data from multiple sources, and exploring important concepts, like cardinality and filter flow. Keep in mind that this is part two of a three part series. We'll be picking up right where we left off from part one, which covered power query. Make sure to either work through that section first, or download the completed part one project file, so that you can follow along from here. Let's get started.
