In other words, creating an accurate budget, can not only save you time, but protect your bottom line. I'm Walter Biscardi, Jr., and I've been in the video production industry for over 25 years. I've been a business owner for over 18 years. I started out as a video editor, specializing in all things post-production, and then I grew my skills, so now I'm just as comfortable writing, budgeting, and directing as I am editing or color-grading.
Now, a big part of creating an accurate budget is understanding exactly what the client needs. So before we even discuss money, we'll talk about getting enough information from your client to understand the full scope of the project. We'll also talk about how you can focus on specifics rather than generalities to help ensure you account for everything needed to complete your vision.
