Using shortcut menus and the mini toolbar
- [Instructor] Excel's menu system is extensive, and there are lots of commands there. It is difficult to find them at times, and you're not always sure what you're looking for. There's a great feature called the shortcut menu, and it's accessible by using the right mouse button. And many times it is accompanied by something called the mini toolbar, particularly when we're talking about formatting capabilities. On this worksheet here, I simply want to put in a new row, for example, between rows six and seven. I want this row right here to have some empty space above it. I don't even know what the command's going to be. I could spend a lot of time looking around. Now the word insert catches my eye. I might go there, and I will not find anything here about putting in a new row. Back on the home tab, maybe off to the right. There's another word, it's the same word actually, but in a different location, insert. So here's a command here I could be using. But who has the time to do that?…
