- [Instructor] If you frequently work with data 2 from different countries, 3 you may need to make some conversions. 4 For example, from kilometers to miles, 5 or Celsius to Fahrenheit. 6 And sometimes you'll go in the opposite direction. 7 In columns G and H, 8 is a limited set of some of the possibilities 9 that we might be talking about 10 if we're trying to convert numbers 11 between different measuring systems. 12 Let's take a couple of simple examples. 13 180 kilometers, how many miles is this? 14 In cell B2, we use this function called Convert. 15 Convert, 180, it's in cell A2, comma, 16 and then a huge list pops up. 17 102 choices, believe it or not. 18 Some of the more popular choices are there at first. 19 And for certain applications, 20 you'll quickly discover 21 which ones you're going to use more often. 22 We want to convert from kilometers. 23 Now here's meter. 24 We don't see kilometers, 25 but we…
