- [Instructor] Now, Microsoft Excel is all about helping you work faster and easier, saving you time and effort as you build your workbooks. Well, we're going to look at a real nice time saving feature that I use often. It's called Auto Fill, and it's going to save you a lot of time when it comes to entering data into cells where there's a pattern. Lemme show you what I'm talking about as we continue working with our Leaf and Mortar workbook. LMRevenues0106, if you're catching up. Let's just go over here to an empty space, and let's experiment with some things. Click in cell, say, K5 here. Let's type in Monday. Press enter and type in Tuesday. Now we see a pattern. Does Excel? Yes. Press enter to lock that in. Now select the two cells. Remember this little green handle in the bottom right corner we use for copying. Look what happens when we have a pattern and go to that little handle and click and drag straight down. You're gonna see Wednesday popping up to the right, then Thursday…
