- You know, Microsoft Excel is all about saving you time and helping you to work more efficiently, and that's why there's a cool feature called Auto Fill to help you when it comes to entering data. We're going to experiment, first, down the left-hand side of our worksheet here in our London Hotels Revenue sheet we've been building. RH_Revenues0106, if you need to get caught up. Let's go to cell A13 here, and we'll type in the word "Monday." Press Enter and type "Tuesday." Now, we see a pattern. Is Excel going to see the same pattern? You bet. Click and drag over "Monday" and "Tuesday" to highlight both of those, A13 to 14. Now, when we go to that little handle in the bottom-right corner, our mouse handle turns to the black cross. We know we can click and drag to copy, but because there's a pattern here, look what happens when we click and drag straight down. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, it's all popping up here. We could go down to Sunday and keep going if we wanted to repeat this, or…
