- [Instructor] If you have Office 365 2 and have the latest updates installed, 3 you do have access to some additional functions. 4 Two related functions, new functions are called Sort 5 and Sort By, and they're what we call spill functions. 6 With a single formula or one of these functions, 7 you'll get results across multiple cells. 8 In this worksheet, I'd like to have a new list. 9 I don't want to destroy 10 or change the existing list for the moment, 11 but I'd like to have a list over in column I, 12 consisting of just the information that we see here, 13 but sorted by employee name. 14 So in cell I2, I'm going to be typing =sort, 15 left parenthesis, and the data here goes down to row 400. 16 So in dragging across this, I could go highlight it all. 17 I'll simply drag into row four 18 and then type those additional zeros out there. 19 And look what happens when I press enter. 20 I've got a list.
