- [Instructor] We're looking at the worksheet…formulas in our chapter seven file.…You may be familiar with the quick command sequence…that allows us to highlight all formulas in a worksheet.…Make sure the active cell is on a single cell.…It could be anywhere, and on the home tab,…the find and select button way up to the right,…click it, click formulas, all formula cells are highlighted.…And we could apply color here, like green, blue,…some light color where we can still see the data.…Now, if we delete this cell here,…delete its content, it stays blue.…
If we write a formula over here,…it doesn't turn blue.…So the feature of applying color…and selecting the format cells before that…isn't good in the long run…in the sense that it's not dynamic.…I'm going to press control + Z to undo…the application of color.…There's a different way to approach this,…it's by way of conditional formatting.…And we're going to be using a function called is formula.…Now if I use this in an isolated case,…it seems not that valuable.…I'm going to click on cell F12, equal i-s,…
