- [Instructor] In this worksheet, we see some months 2 in column A and profits in column B. 3 And we can certainly read the numbers, 4 we know what they mean. 5 We see some positives and negatives there. 6 Let's make these numbers stand out a bit more prominently 7 by way of conditional formatting. 8 Now, a couple of options here as I select column B, 9 this list will grow by the way, 10 so we're selecting the entire column for the formatting 11 that we want to apply. 12 Then on the home tab, conditional formatting, 13 certainly one approach is to use color scales. 14 So the one here that I'm pointing to, 15 you can see immediately the higher values are dark green. 16 The lowest values are bright red, 17 and everything in between is a continuum of colors 18 as we change between those two, 19 and nothing wrong with that, and that could be okay. 20 Icon sets bring out the data perhaps a bit more prominently. 21 If we…
