Testing a macro in step mode

- [Instructor] In the previous movie, we altered our macro code to include what's called a Do Loop. But it's really important, particularly in longer macros, to be able to test a macro. When you don't do that, there are times when you're going to be watching your screen for a long, long time where the macro just seems to go on and on and on. So in the previous movie, we introduced Do Loops, but we didn't really test them. It was the idea of repeating actions over and over and over again. We've got 2,400 rows of data here. But it's best to simulate the idea of would our macro work if we have only, say 50 rows of data, something like that? So let's remind ourselves what the macro code looks like. I'm going to press Alt + F11. We want to be looking at the macro that's in the Partial-3 workbook. If you have other workbooks open, make sure that you do in the Visual Basic Window, double-click the module for module three.…
