(upbeat techno music) - Time and time again, we get data that's in a format that's not useful. We get a bunch of data that's all in one sale. How do we break this data up so that it's useful and actionable? Let's look at this example. We've got data by the instructors, first and last name are in one column. And then look at this other column. Email, the days that they're teaching, and the nearest airport. We would like a last name column, a first name column, and an email. We don't care about that other information. So, how are we going to dig this out? We are going into Power Query. So, with my cursor inside the range of data, I go to data from table slash range. Yes, my table does have headers. Ah, yeah, the Power Query editor. And there's our data. Let's first split the first and last names. The column is already highlighted. We're going to go to split column by delimiter. We're going to go down to custom, because we got to deal with the space and the comma. So I'm going to type…
