- [Instructor] Last bit of housekeeping before we dive in, just want to set some expectations for the course. Again, I'm on Excel 2016, 365 ProPlus, so what you see on your screen may differ a little bit from what I'm showing on mine, and that's especially true if you're using the 2010 plugin version, or a 2013 copy. Number two, this course is really designed to get you up and running with Excel's BI tools. So the goal of this course is to provide you with a deep, solid foundational understanding of Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX. So I might simplify a few concepts along the way, to make them easier to teach and for you to grasp, and we may pass over some of the more advanced tools. Number three, these tools are incredibly powerful, but to be honest, they can still be a little bit buggy sometimes.
