Send workbooks as email attachments
- [David] Another popular way to share an Excel workbook is to send it via email as an attachment. Well, the nice thing is here in Excel 2019 is you don't have to leave the application, launch your email application, start a new message, then go to the attachment button, find your file, attach it, send it, et cetera. You can do it all from Excel. That's what we're going to do with Leaf & Mortar Revenues 03 here from the Chapter Three folder of your exercise files. First we'll go up to File. Them we'll select Share, and from here, click Email. Here's the cool thing. When we send it as an attachment in an email, it can be sent as an Excel file so everyone gets a copy to review. It is an Excel workbook as they receive it at their end. However, if you wanted to just send them a PDF version, a read-only copy, you can choose to convert it on the fly as a PDF. That would happen.
