To select non-contiguous cells (prior to entering data, applying formatting, or deleting data), use the Ctrl key and the mouse. To copy a range of data containing hidden rows and/or hidden columns, select the entire range and press Alt+; (Semicolon) to select just the visible cells just before copying.

It'll get the data back pretty quickly.…But I don't want to see this data in the print out,…so I'll drag across these two columns.…I'm ready to hide those two columns,…but I also want to hide, for example, Column I.…So, I'll hold down the Control key and click Column I.…I don't want to show the Job Rating, either.…I'll click Column K.…Right click on any of those column entries…that I've selected and simply hide.…
