- We're looking at the formulas worksheet…in our chapter seven file, and in this worksheet there…are lots of formulas and lots of inter-dependencies.…If we click on cell B3, we can see that's a number.…We recognize that there could be formulas…that refer to this, there's one in B7,…but what we would really like to know is,…which other cells depend upon B3,…and we can do this in a couple of different ways.…There's a keystroke shortcut,…it's control Shift right bracket,…and that highlights all cells in this worksheet…that have any kind of dependency on cell B3.…
Now, if I click on one of these, it will deselect them,…so I'm not going to be doing that.…But do recognize, when these cells are highlighted,…that one of them, at least at a glance,…might not appear to be highlighted, but it is anyway.…In this case it's Cell G5.…Now, we could apply a color here to remember this,…but there's also another way to check dependencies.…Let's go back to cell B3, if it is not already selected,…and then, on the formulas tab…in the ribbon trace dependents.…
