Scatter charts
- [Instructor] If you're trying to show the relationship between two different sets of values. You might consider using what's called a scatter chart. And often, this is referred to as an X Y chart. There's a companion chart called a bubble chart that we also want to take a look at. On the sheet called X Y scatter chart, we've got data in columns A and B. Ages are listed in column A, these people have run a race, we've got their completion times in column B. 99 entries here. We'd like to show this information in a chart. Click anywhere within the data, it is surrounded by empty cells, and worksheet boundaries, so we don't have to highlight it. And on the insert tab in the ribbon, there is the icon for X Y scatter or bubble chart. Choose the first option, and we see the chart already down below. Move this over, make it a little bit bigger.
