You can assign a keystroke shortcut to run a macro eather at the time you record a macro or later by going to the Macros button, either on the View or Developer tab. In the Macro dialog box, click Options, and select a lowercase or uppercase letter. All macro keystroke shortsuts automatically use the Ctrl key.
