- [Instructor] In Excel, we have a way to filter the information for unique values and we have another tool we can use to remove the duplicate values. After watching this video, you'll know how to apply the advanced filter to filter unique records only, and how to use an advanced filter to remove duplicate records, and how to use that remove duplicates tool. Let's take a look at our removed duplicates workbook, and we'll start with the advance filter worksheet. I believe that we have duplicate order IDs in here, and to make it easy for us to see this before we filter the information, let's go ahead and select the data. I'll select the column headings and use control shift down arrow on my keyboard to select the range, and then on my home tab in the editing group we'll go to sort and filter, and filter.
