- [Voiceover] Despite all the strengths and flexibility of the filtering capability in Excel, there are some limitations. On this worksheet called FilterLimitations, we're looking at a list here, and we'd like to come up with a modified version of this list, that shows anybody who's been here over 15 years, or makes over 80,000. Now as soon as we apply the filter for one of these fields I think it becomes apparent what we're not able to see here. If I choose Year here, on the drop filter, Number Filters, Greater Than, 15, we've chosen all records where the years are above 15. If we then go to the Comp column, and use Number Filters, Greater Than 80,000, we now have a list, comprised of all records for both conditions are true, and we do want to see these records, but what we're not seeing here are all those people who have 15 years of service or fewer, who make over 80,000. And we're also not seeing in the list, those people who make under 80,000, but yet happen to have been here 16…
