- [Instructor] Well, we've come to the end of our discussion of business analytics in Excel, but a few key points to keep in mind as you leave. First, remember Excel has got lots of great tools for business analysts. Business analytics often comes down to collecting and cleaning the right data set in an effective way so that we can gain inference or insight from it. Excel is very, very handy for doing this sort of thing. While there are other programs out there that allow you to put together data. Excel is my favorite for being able to actually see what's going on with the data set and at least get us started. Second, Excel makes it really easy to build intuitive business models for everything from marketing, to operations, to finance, to accounting, or any other area of the firm.
